My Week In Pictures

This week has been pretty hectic for me - deadlines, uni work and stress galore! However I thought for today's post I would share with you some of the better points of my week :)

So firstly, I am sure all of you have seen the adorable hats that innocent are doing with their smoothies right now, and the other day I think I picked up the cutest one. I wish they did this in a human size! Next to it you will see the latest in my ridiculously large collection of nail varnishes (can you ever have enough?!) I went to Westfields on Saturday with my friend Lulu to do 'Christmas present shopping' - obviously this turned into accidentally buying pretty things for ourselves. I had never been into the KIKO shop before but they have a whole shop dedicated to anything beauty related at very reasonable prices.

This week also marked the sad occasion of finally reaching the end of the SATC boxset.. although it was about time, I did get it as a Christmas present last year. I managed to borrow the first film, and the second one has been ordered from LoveFilm. I just don't want it to end!

Another purchase from our shopping trip, love the retro style of this statement necklace from Primark. Makes a change from all of the floral ones that seem to be everywhere at the moment.

While doing my food shop this week I noticed everyone had pretty things for their trees/homes in their trolleys, and I started to feel a little left out of the Christmas spirit *violins play softly in background*. So I decided to declare the festive atmosphere at uni with some Yankee votives and Christmassy cake. The candles smell amazing!

Finally, and in keeping with the Christmassy theme, I attended the ISES Mistletoe Ball this week. It is the annual party for event industry professionals, and was held at a venue by London Bridge called The Hop Exchange. Not only was the venue beautiful; but they served us warm Pimms, Chinese food and.. Churros < my absolute favourite!

Oh, and to top it off, we managed to meet the big guy himself.
